聽懷舊歌曲學英文：讓你忍不住跟著唱的經典電影主題曲

這次幫大家整理了六部經典電影的主題曲，在開始前學英文前先把完整歌單給大家吧：

1. Hero (小人物大英雄 Hero)
2. I Will Always Love You (終極保鑣 The Bodyguard)
3. My Heart Will Go On (鐵達尼號 Titanic)
4. How Do I Live (空中監獄 Con Air)
5. I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing (世界末日 Armageddon)
6. There You’ll Be (珍珠港 Pearl Harbor)

Hero

電影：小人物大英雄 Hero (1992)

1. carry on 繼續進行、堅持下去

例：With the strength to carry on（帶著力量堅持下去）

2. cast (v.) 丟棄、投

例：And you cast your fear aside（你可以拋下恐懼）

3. emptiness (n.) 空虛

這個字來自形容詞 empty，在某些情況下，在形容時後面加上「ness」，就會變成同義名詞。比如：kind → kindness、weak → weakness

例：And the emptiness you felt（而你感受到的這份空虛）

I Will Always Love You

電影：終極保鑣 The Bodyguard (1992)

1. be in one’s way 阻擋、對某人造成困擾

例：I would only be in your way（我只會成為你的羈絆）

2. bitter sweet 甘苦參半

例：Bitter sweet memory（甘苦參半的回憶）

3. above all 首要、最重要的是

例：But above all this I wish you love（但最重要的還是，我希望你找到真愛）

My Heart Will Go On

電影：鐵達尼號 Titanic (1997)

1. once more 再一次

例：Once more you open the door（你再一次地打開了我的心房）

2. go on 繼續、持續下去

例：And my heart will go on and on（我對你的愛將永不停歇）

3. wherever (adv.) 不論在哪裡、不論何處

在 wh- 疑問詞後面加上 ever，會有「不論…」的意思。如：whoever 不論是誰、whenever 不論何時

例：Near, far, wherever you are（不管是遠是近，不論你在何處）

How Do I Live

電影：空中監獄 Con Air (1997)

1. get through 到達、通過

例：How do I get through a night without you（我如何度過一個沒有你的夜晚）

2. in one’s arm 在某人懷中

例：For a while I need you in my arms（我需要你在我的懷中）

3. take away 帶走

Baby you would take away everything good in my life（寶貝你會帶走我生命中美好的一切）

I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing

電影：世界末日 Armageddon (1998)

1. surrender (n.) 投降、屈服

例：I could spend my life in this sweet surrender.（我願意一生都屈服於這份甜蜜中）

2. wonder (v.) 想知道、對…感到懷疑

例：And I’m wondering what you’re dreaming.（我想知道你在夢什麼）

3. treasure (v.) 珍藏、珍惜

例：Every moment spent with you is a moment I treasure. （每個與妳共處的時刻，都是我最珍惜的）

There You’ll Be

電影：珍珠港 Pearl Harbor (2001)

1. bless (adj.) 快樂的、受祝福的

例：I’ll be glad cause I was blessed to get to have you in my life（能夠有你在我的生命裡，是多大的快樂與祝福）

2. soar (v.) 翱翔、高飛

例：In my dreams I’ll always see you soar above the sky（我總是能夠夢見你在我的上空翱翔）

3. within (prep.) 在…裡面、在…內部

例：To feel the sky within my reach（感覺天空近在咫尺）
